Major projects underway

are a few of the major projects planned or begun in our region:
- a $190 million Biodiesel and Ethanol Refinery is proposed for
Red Deer County (near the Town of Innisfail)
- over $46 million worth of building projects are under
construction or just completed in the larger centres in
Central Alberta, including mixed use and office buildings
- a $50 million power shopping centre is under construction in
Sylvan Lake with $20 million of upgrades already proposed
- Alberta Transportation has proposed or begun over $50 million
worth of highway repair and reconstruction in Central Alberta.
